Hi there 👋 Welcome to my Github Profile

I'm Angel Galindo and I have a bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine. When coding I like to mantain quality, scalable and reliable code. At the same time I know how to move fast and be smart about it.

👨‍💻 About Me

I'm an ambitious aspiring software engineer who has a passion/focus on backend engineering, distributed systems and quality assurance. Through my deployed projects and collaborative team experiences, I have developed a strong foundation in backend engineering and the full software development lifecycle. I love to work projects that bring value to my life/community or are an additive in making my current projects more reliable and efficient.

Outside of coding I love travelling, going to the gym and eating tasty food!

  • 🐒 Stochastic UI Chaos Monkey: A robust testing engine built using Puppeteer to simulate unpredictable user behavior and ensure frontend reliability.
  • 🔍 Java Search Engine: A from-scratch search engine over engineering blogs, implementing BM25 ranking and PageRank over an inter-blog citation graph.
  • 🎭 BehavioralDummy — A real-time AI clone of me that answers behavioral interview questions out loud, with a live avatar (FastAPI, pgvector, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, HeyGen).
