TestSelect defines test_select_event_id twice, so the later definition wins and the earlier one has never been collected. They are not duplicates: the shadowed one passes a plain list, haz.select(event_id=[4, 1]), while the one that runs passes np.array([4, 1]). List input to select(event_id=...) therefore has no test.
Renaming the later one to test_select_event_id_array leaves the running test's behaviour alone and puts the list case back. TestSelect goes from 12 to 13 passing.
