After a decade of chasing the "Win", 2025 brought the ultimate twist: succeeding by failing. By June, the system was running, but it took until October to admit it wasn’t profitable. That courage to admit defeat led to the "Great Reconciliation", when I stopped only caring about my successful self and began embracing the same person who often fails. In this post existentialist world, life is lighter and more joyful than ever before.

For 2026, the Funny Tragic Hero returns for one final charge against this absurd market. Reinforcement Learning is a path I first explored in 2024, but I was missing the vital pieces I only discovered during those months of failing. Trading is a losing game where the biggest winner is often the long term loser; by designing a system to focus on losing less while also winning more, perhaps the only true path can be revealed.

If the past decade taught me anything, it is that you must love yourself at all times — especially when you are failing.
