Manit and Rangan's Software Solution Project

As of now, what I (rangan) think we should make this project do

This app would be a local AI system that automatically detects your computer’s CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and operating system, then configures itself around what your machine can handle. It could recommend and run suitable local models, show what is using your resources, stop unnecessary background processes, and suggest lighter alternatives for heavy apps. You could give the AI permission to specific folders and files, so it can work with your projects locally without sending everything to the cloud. You could also tell it to cd into a project and give it access to a sandboxed VM terminal where it can install dependencies, run commands, test code, and debug problems safely. A larger testing system could repeatedly run the project in different environments, compare failures, detect whether errors are reproducible, and use both algorithms and AI to figure out what actually broke. The goal would be to make one developer tool that combines local AI, system optimization, autonomous testing, file access, and hardware-aware configuration while still working well on low-resource computers.

Basically, A local software solution that optimizes your computer based on its hardware, recommends suitable AI models and software, monitors resource usage, manages background processes, and gives a local AI controlled access to files, folders, terminals, and virtual machines for testing, debugging, and development.

I also plan to integrate some of my (rangan's) projects into this optimization software solution so that for ai, or all these extra tools normally used on adeveloper's computers everything is properly planned out, debloated, etc.
