About QuantConnect

QuantConnect is an open-source, cloud-based algorithmic trading platform for Python and C#. We built it on the belief that professional-grade quant infrastructure should be available to everyone — not just the largest funds. At its core is LEAN, our open-source trading engine, which lets you research, backtest, and trade live across equities, options, futures, forex, and crypto using the same code, in the cloud or on your own machine. Today, a global community of independent quants, students, and institutional teams use QuantConnect to take strategies from idea to live deployment.
