This is an intermediate step. As we have seen with the reverse depends steps, this works for most packages -- but breaks the stan family.
As discussed in #143, there is an upstream release 5.0.1 (still not good enough for stan ...) and a candidate for 5.0.2. So the idea is to
@SteveBronder has some changes beyond the pure Eigen 5.0.2 work.
