Renato Mignone

Security Research Intern at Huawei Research, Data Protection Lab, working on privacy-preserving authorization, post-quantum anonymous tokens, and authorization architectures for agent-to-tool interactions.

MSc Cybersecurity Engineering at Politecnico di Torino (GPA 29.48/30), expected October 2026.

My focus is agentic AI security and systems security, with hands-on work spanning agent authorization, MCP and tool security, Linux/eBPF verifier analysis, AI/ML for cybersecurity, and secure systems engineering.

Current Work

Security Research Intern - Huawei Research / Huawei Data Privacy Lab

Researching privacy-preserving authorization, anonymous authentication, secure credentials, and policy-aware access control.

My work explores how systems can verify authorization while limiting unnecessary identity disclosure, with particular interest in how these ideas apply to AI agents, tools, APIs, and other security-sensitive interactions.

From LLMs to Secure Agents - Author and maintainer of a source-grounded learning project focused on understanding agentic systems and their security boundaries.

It covers agent architectures, context, memory, tools, identity, execution, MCP, multi-agent systems, threat modeling, evaluation, and secure design.

Website

VitaeContext - Co-creator and maintainer of an MIT-licensed, local-first framework for giving AI agents reusable, evidence-bounded career context.

It provides reusable agent skills, a CLI, and a stateless MCP server for working with structured private context across different AI environments.
