Rigel is building Compass, the open-source Agentic Software Factory.
A coding agent is one pair of hands you steer turn by turn. Compass is a tree of Manager agents. Each owns a lane of work, dispatches its own workers, and opens the pull requests, so the whole board advances in parallel. You review and approve everything that ships — one engineer runs like a whole department.
- Multiplayer to the core. Every teammate runs their own tree, and the trees meet in shared channels. Agents coordinate agent-to-agent, in the same threads the humans are in, with no one relaying between them.
- Open source. Bring any provider, API, or coding plan you already pay for. No vendor lock-in, no markup.
- Works inside the GitHub and Linear you already use.
- Review loop, red-green tests, design-doc-first, and stacked diffs come baked in. Agentic engineering, not vibe coding.
