Hello, I’m Senja

A creative Data Analyst and Resource & Project Specialist with excellent problem solving skills. I completed a Data Analytics certification course at CareerFoundry in November 2021. In the Data Immersion course I learned to implement statistical methods in business environments and use analytics tools and techniques; SQL databases, Python scripts, Excel and data visualisations in Tableau.

Case Study 1: Film Company - Customer and Sales Analysis

  • In this case study, I am helping Rockbuster Stealth, a fictional movie rental company that used to have stores around the world. It is struggling to compete with the online streaming companies and would like help with launching a new online film rental platform. To kick off the process, Management Team have asked the questions to understand the sale revenue and customer locations.
  • Technical Skills Utilised:
    • SQL tools; PostgreSQL PgAdmin 4
    • Tableau

Case Study 2: Instacart - Grocery Basket Analysis

  • In this study project the stakeholders are considering a targeted marketing strategy and have requested an analysis of its customers and their purchasing behaviours. My task is to perform a data and exploratory analysis in order to derive insights and suggest strategies for better segmentation.
  • Technical Skills Utilised;
    • Python tools and libraries; Jupyter, Pandas, NumPy, os, matplotlib, seaborn, scipy
    • Power Point

Case Study 3: Car Insurance - Data Analysis

  • In this case study I explored the variables that have an impact on car insurance cost. The purpose of the project was to use the findings to plan the customer retention program.
  • Technical Skills Utilised;
    • Python tools and libraries; Jupyter, Pandas, NumPy, os, matplotlib, seaborn, folium, json, sklearn (e.g cluster & KMeans), pylab
    • Tableau
