Unfortunately, I don't have a Neo myself for testing, so I have a few questions:

  • Have you checked that StreamController doesn't crash when adding images or similar to those keys?
  • It's probably not possible to change the color of them with this change and the current StreamController, right?

The app won't crash when adding images. This is not technically a special key, it's still part of the screen and will work like any other key, but it wasn't really made to show anything more than a background colour.

It's probably not possible to change the color of them with this change and the current StreamController, right?

Just change the background colour of the key and it works. What would need to be changed is having a special layout on the UI for the Neo, because right now it just adds an extra row of keys but only the first two are editable.

The official StreamDeck app limits this key to only have the page changing action and the background colour, but it is a key like the others, except that it's capacitive and the visual part is much smaller, with a blurry/difused plastic on top.
