Prof. Michael Coughlin (@mcoughlin) is a professor at Unniversity of Minnesota, a longtime collaborator of mine, a heavy user of HEALPix, and the originator of several high quality recent issues and PRs for astropy-healpix.

@lpsinger : I'm not on the Coco but I know that they typically meed every other week or so. That means that they'll probably get to this next time they meet.
