👋 Welcome to the GitHub page of the Center for Metropolitan Studies (CEM).

CEM is one of the Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (CEPIDS) of the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). It is based at the School of Philosophy, Languages and Human Sciences (FFLCH) at the University of São Paulo (USP) and at the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP). The center brings together a multidisciplinary team of experts from diverse fields, such as demographers, sociologists, economists, and political scientists, encouraging collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
