Checklist

Note - the build failures were due to a problem in Matplotlib introduced in 3.6.1 and particularly how this interacted with the Seaborn bar plot in v<=1.12.0 matplotlib/matplotlib#24127. This is fixed by Seaborn 0.12.1 excluding the 3.6.1 Matplotlib release (mwaskom/seaborn#3060) and is fixed in Matplotlib in matplotlib/matplotlib#24149, but not until next 3.6.2 release of Matplotlib.

Hopefully re-running the jobs now with the Seaborn 0.12.1 release should allow the jobs to complete.
