# Pricing Model Lab
Pricing Model Lab is a synthetic Python project that compares observed values against model-derived values and flags material deviations for review.
It demonstrates a simple, structured decision-support workflow designed to turn raw inputs into consistent, reviewable outputs.
## Workflow
- Load structured data
- Validate required inputs
- Calculate deviations between observed and model values
- Apply threshold-based review logic
- Output a clean, ranked result
## Example Output
| item_id | observed_value | model_value | deviation | review_flag |
|--------|----------------|-------------|-----------|-------------|
| A-104 | 102.50 | 98.20 | 4.38% | Review |
| A-219 | 75.00 | 74.10 | 1.21% | OK |
## What This Demonstrates
- Python data pipelines
- Data validation and input control
- Comparative / pricing analysis
- Decision-support workflow design
- Reproducible, structured outputs
## CLI Example
```bash
python src/pricing_model.py data/sample_prices.csv output.csvOutput saved to output.csv
