Backend Engineer & Game Developer. Coding since 1998.

I started coding at age 11 and never really stopped. I make games and build backend systems that are reliable, scalable, and easy for other developers to use.

Status: Open to freelance backend/greenfield projects

  • jl — A tool to make structured JSON logs human-readable again
    • Fun fact: The command examples in the README are actually the feature tests for the project.
  • netlib — Making p2p multiplayer web games possible via UDP
    • Used by 22k players every day across the web.

  • Founded an indie studio and launched Sprint City with a team of nine.
  • Built a custom orchestration algorithm to pair peers based on both in-game proximity and real-world latency.
