APITube (https://apitube.io) is a news API: articles from 500,000+ sources in 180+ countries and 60+ languages returned as structured JSON with sentiment, entities and topics. Free tier of 100 requests/day, API key requires registration, so the entry is marked (R). Entry uses the enriched metadata format from the README. Adds APITube to Search Engines → News Search in public/arf.json.
APITube is a news API. It aggregates articles from 500,000+ sources across 180+ countries in 60+ languages and returns them as structured JSON, enriched with sentiment, extracted entities (people, organizations, locations, brands), topics and industries.
Why it fits the framework: the News Search branch currently lists news portals you browse by hand. APITube covers the same ground programmatically — one query filters by keyword, entity, source domain, source country, language, sentiment and date range at once, over both live and historical coverage — which is what you want when a lead has to be tracked across languages or a timeline reconstructed. Results are JSON, so they go straight into a script or a spreadsheet.
Free and public use: the free tier allows 100 requests/day and needs no card, only an account for the API key — hence the (R) marker and "registration": true.
The entry uses the enriched metadata format from the README (description, status, pricing, bestFor, input, output, opsec, opsecNote and the boolean flags). python3 -m json.tool public/arf.json passes, same check as CI.
