How do I run the tests?

They are part of the regular regression test framework, so "nosetests matplotlib.tests.test_mathtext" should do it.

I performed a rebase before merging to keep the history graph clean. These changes have been merged into v1.0.x and then into master. Its safe to delete your mathtext_font_tests branch.
