@meeseeksmachine Please back-port to 3.11.x |

This sort of thing happens from time-to-time with runners from GHA. I think they use homebrew as part of creating them and it can be left in a funny state. |

@meeseeksdev Backport to v3.11.x |
Sorry, something went wrong.
I think you have to use "meeseeksdev", even though "meeseeksmachine" is what shows up in autocomplete. I've never been able to get "meeseeksmachine" to work. |

…448-on-v3.11.x Backport PR #32448 on branch v3.11.x (Fix macOS 15 test runner by unlinking old openssl binary)
| Back | FazBrowse Home | New Git URL |
PR summary
Our "Python 3.12 on macos-15" test runner has been failing all day with:
brew unlink openssl@1.1 doesn't actually work, as the runner image (or Homebrew?) appears to make a manual link from "/opt/homebrew/bin/openssl" to the openssl@1.1 binary.
I searched GitHub for similar reports and took the solution found in y-scope/clp#2545.
