Use bincount rather than histogram for comparing images on Numpy >= 1.6. Continue to use histogram for earlier Numpy versions.

Cache results of previous {PDF|SVG} -> PNG conversions. We can only cache the baseline images, since the test results are never the same twice given different dictionary orderings in the file.
