I ended up refactoring the splashes so that they didn't need an external GET but once that was done I realized I didn't really like them so I actually disabled them. All the other changes are in. |

The GET was so that we wouldn't eventually need to pull it out of the site later haha. But... |

A variety of improvements, better responsive styling, spacing, meta tags, etc.
I just sorta lumped it all into one quick PR haha.
