Some node engines (for example FreeBSD's port) are using system provided libuv and therefore node include files will not have uv.h installed with them.

A fallback should be provided for this case.

saper@4f75bbb hardcodes the path and works around the problem for my FreeBSD installation

@srajko this broke after we started using uv directly (#836, #1019)
