I need this support if you do :)
Hey @milani, I think it should be relatively simple to implement this. I'd like to rethink how the bindings are currently written so that I can write the sync methods and then some syntactic sugar on top to make them async. This would greatly increase the turn over time for porting methods.
@tbranyen did you ever get anywhere with this "sugar" approach? From what I've seen you aren't supposed to call V8 methods from different threads, which IMHO makes your suggestion unfeasible. Does this sound right to you, or am I missing something here?
I'm wondering why this was closed? I have a use case for synchronous variants of all the methods.

Add support for synchronous methods, should be direct calls and suffixed with Sync
