Python class to process html to detect wordpress version

clone it and install the requirements (think about to use virtual-envs, as you will ^^)

$ git clone git@github.com:securipy/WordpressCheckVersion.git

$ pip install -r requirements.txt

or can install with pip

$ pip install WordpressCheckVersion

Import in your project and enjoy
