Summary

• publish the Sidequery equality-delete fork under the distinct sidequery-pyiceberg distribution name
• keep the existing pyiceberg import package and CLI
• align runtime and distribution versions at 0.12.0.post1
• add an explicit fork notice and Sidequery maintainer metadata
• add a manual Trusted Publishing workflow that reuses the existing multi-platform wheel build

Why

PyPI rejects VCS dependencies in uploaded package metadata, so dlt-iceberg cannot be released while it directly depends on the GitHub fork. A normal PyPI distribution gives it a publishable dependency without pretending this fork is an Apache PyIceberg release.

Validation

• uv build --sdist --wheel
• clean virtual-environment install of the built wheel with [pyiceberg-core]
• verified import pyiceberg, version metadata, and Table.upsert_by_equality_delete
• uv run pytest tests/test_version.py tests/cli/test_console.py -q (87 passed)
• Ruff check and format checks
• workflow YAML parse
