Die Sächsische Landesbibliothek – Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Dresden (SLUB) ist eine der größten wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken in Deutschland.

Als Teil ihrer Verpflichtung zu Open-Source-Prinzipien entwickelt sie frei zugängliche und quelloffene Software auf GitHub. Durch die Nutzung von GitHub ermöglicht die SLUB anderen Entwicklern, an ihren Projekten mitzuwirken und Ideen auszutauschen, um gemeinsam den Fortschritt in der digitalen Welt voranzutreiben.

Auf einer selbst-gehosteten Gitlab-Instanz befinden sich zudem primär interne Werkzeuge und Prototypen, von denen es auch einige öffentlich zugängliche Repos gibt.

The Saxon State Library - State and University Library Dresden (SLUB) is one of the largest academic libraries in Germany.

As part of its commitment to open-source principles, it develops freely accessible and open-source software on GitHub. By using GitHub, the SLUB enables other developers to contribute to their projects and exchange ideas therefore working together to advance progress in the digital world.

Additionally, a self-hosted Gitlab instance contains primarily internal tools and prototypes, of which there are also some publicly accessible repos available.
