A multiplatform, Vulkan-rendered GPU UI framework for Rust, with a Compose/Tailwind-style declarative API, fine-grained reactivity, theming, i18n, animations, GPU shader effects, and a virtualized data grid. Built to power dense desktop tools — editors, database browsers, internal enterprise apps.
This repository also contains Observer2, a skeleton database-viewer app that consumes Shard.

- Rust 1.85+ (workspace uses edition 2024).
- Vulkan SDK with a loader + a Vulkan driver. On macOS this is MoltenVK (portability subset), installed via the LunarG Vulkan SDK.
