Report abuseHi! I'm a student studying astronomy at the University of British Columbia. (Before I came to UBC, I spent a year at the University of Chicago.) I don't write much code at the moment, so my GitHub profile is fairly inactive. You can find me on Bluesky @leahg.org.
- I write Move Fast, Break Things, a column about technology and the politics surrounding it, for UBC's student newspaper: https://ubyssey.ca/opinion/move-fast-break-things/
- I'm doing research with Dr. Rich Kron's research group at UChicago, studying long-term quasar variability.
- I was on my high school's FIRST Robotics Competition team, Cache Money, for four years, wrote code for six robots, and served as a lead programmer and co-captain for two years.
- I made a machine learning model to classify transient astronomical events as part of a program at Northwestern's Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics - check it out here.
- I was one of the creators of my high school's student council website, built using React.
