FYI, this git repo is just a mirror of the SVN textpattern repository from http://code.google.com/p/textpattern/ which is the official codebase. I'll leave this pull request open here for a while but you may want to create a straight patch file and send that to the devs over there.

I don't work on svn either but creating a patch file in git is no problem. At its simplest, you can create patches using...

git diff > /path/to/your/file.patch

... and send them the patch file. Use...

git help diff

and read the details for diff'ing between two commits (the last in the master tree and the last in your pull request should do it.)

Alternatively you could just point the devs at the url for this pull request if they don't know about it already.
