Problem

The Python 3.15 release would omit the exact-version image tags needed to select a fixed Python 3.15.1 revision.

Cause

The release alias configuration still starts at Python 3.14 and assigns the Python 3 aliases to that older version, while image builds now assign them to 3.15.

Solution

Include Python 3.15 in release alias publication and assign the Python 3 aliases to 3.15. Continue publishing Python 3.14 minor and exact-version aliases for all existing variants.

Validation

• Expanded the configuration using the release publisher for all five supported Python versions.
• Confirmed production, development, and macOS development variants include exact Python 3.15.1 tags.
• Confirmed only Python 3.15 owns the major-version aliases.
• Image build inputs are unchanged from the Python 3.15 image change.

Rollout

Merge before publishing the next image revision so Python 3.15.1 exact-version aliases are included.
