Reinhard's Fedora Asahi Overlay for Codex Desktop Linux
This is a personal overlay for
ilysenko/codex-desktop-linux,
used on Fedora Asahi Remix 44 on Apple Silicon (aarch64). For normal build,
installation, packaging, and feature documentation, use the
upstream README.

| ARM64 primary-runtime guard |
The official runtime configuration currently has no linux-aarch64 artifact. The guard stops futile polling and returns to normal automatically when upstream adds one. |
| Fedora RPM managed-Node fix |
Keeps launchers on the bundled Node runtime instead of Fedora build post-processing rewriting them to /usr/bin/node. |
| ARM64 package smoke checks |
Package tests expect the architecture they actually run on, so Fedora Asahi builds validate correctly. |
| Better Markdown Preview |
Optional feature for inline $...$ math, relative file links, and opening linked Markdown files in the side pane. |
| SSH wrapper current-DMG retarget |
Uses the upstream SSH Command Wrapper feature; only its version-sensitive minified-bundle matchers are refreshed locally until upstream catches up. |
| Local-only validation |
GitHub Actions workflows are intentionally absent. Pull the merged fork locally, then build and validate it on this Fedora Asahi laptop. |
Each upstream update is reviewed. When upstream provides an equivalent fix, the
local patch and its focused test are removed.
