Hefty Cracked Pot is a Key Item and Crafting Material in Elden Ring. It was added with Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Hefty Cracked Pot is a container required for crafting hefty throwing pots, consumables which can be thrown to apply large damage or debuffs to enemies.

Where to find Hefty Cracked Pot in Elden Ring

In the World
  • 1 in Scorched Ruins: From the location of the Ghost NPC, south of the Scorched Ruins. Head north and take the first right to the higher ground. Alongside a group of Shadows, you will find a body containing this item.

  • 3 in Belurat Gaol: Inside a treasure chest in a room full of hanging pots that players have to jump down between. [Video Link] Another one can be found within a labyrinth full of large jars after falling down a broken staircase trap. [Video Link] A last one can be found on some jar pots nearby. [Video Link]
  • 2 in Bonny Village: One can be found on the edge of the broken bridge.

  • 1 in Bonny Gaol: Right when you walk in there's two hanging pots you can jump down to and that leads to it.

  • 1 in Shadow Keep: In the room before reaching the West Rampart Site of Grace with the Jar Innards and multiple small Living Jars enemies. Can be found on a bed on the East side of the room.

  • 1 in Cerulean Coast: Given after defeating a Troll that throws giant sleep pots, found heading south.
  • 1 in Lamenter's Gaol: In a body on the southwestern corner of the area with the piled-up remains.

Hefty Cracked Pot Use

Hefty Cracked Pots can be used to store crafted hefty throwing pots, which apply damage or debuffs to enemies. After a hefty throwing pot is used, an empty Hefty Cracked Pot is returned to the player's inventory, allowing for another hefty throwing pot to be crafted after leaving combat.

Hefty Cracked Pots can hold the following hefty throwing pots:

Hefty Cracked Pot Notes & Tips

  • You can obtain up to 10 Hefty Cracked Pots.
  • Hefty Cracked Pots already obtained cannot be re-obtained in New Game Plus.
  • If hefty throwing pots are put into storage at a Site of Grace, their hefty cracked pots will be available for crafting new items. If you have throwing pots in storage, your cracked pots will automatically refill when you die or rest at a site of grace.
  • You can wear the Greatjar helmet to increase damage of all throwing pots by 16%, and the Companion Jar talisman for a further 20% increase in damage. However, this has no effect on debuffs inflicted by throwing pots.
  • The usual Jar helmet does not increase the damage of Hefty throwing pots.
