Hefty Fly Pot
Throw at enemies to release a large swarm of bloodflies
Hefty Fly Pot is a Consumable Item in Elden Ring. It was added with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It can be thrown at enemies to release a large swarm of flies that severely inflicts Hemorrhage, and requires an empty Hefty Cracked Pot to craft.
Craftable item prepared using a capacious cracked pot.
A cocktail of effluents is sealed inside.
Throw at enemies to set a large swarm of bloodflies upon them. The vile swarm deals damage and greatly builds up onset of blood loss. The cacophony of their wings assails the sanity of berserkers.
The maggots found in waste feed on blood and turn into vicious flies that are pitiably short-lived.
Hefty Fly Pot use in Elden Ring
Throw at enemies to release a large swarm of bloodflies that continuously inflict Hemorrhage buildup. The flies it releases attack up to 7 times, inflicting both damage and hemorrhage each time except for the first time. It also does one additional instance of physical damage when it first hits an enemy. Hemorrhage buildup per attack scales with Arcane as follows:
| Arcane Level | Scaling | Minimum (Total) | Maximum (Total) |
| 1-15 | 69.68 + Arcane 0.32 | 70 (420) | 74 (444) |
| 16-30 | 56.35 + Arcane 1.21 | 75 (450) | 92 (552) |
| 31-50 | 85.93 + Arcane 0.22 | 93 (558) | 97 (582) |
| 51-99 | 92.66 + Arcane 0.09 | 97 (582) | 101 (606) |
- The Hefty Fly Pot's initial hit has base 105 Physical Damage and deals 5 Stance damage. Hits from the subsequent swarm scale off of the Swarm Pot's base 116 Physical Damage.
- The first hit from the swarm happens immediately after the physical hit, but deals little to no Blood Loss buildup. The following 6 hits from the swarm deal normal Blood Loss buildup.
- Tested on Stormveil troll, initial swarm hit did not trigger Blood Loss when the troll was at 220/229 Blood Loss buildup.
- This pot deals the same amount of Blood Loss per second as the Swarm Pot, with a stronger initial hit, a bigger area of effect, and twice the duration.
