    Michael Sanchez is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Raptive (formerly CafeMedia and AdThrive). He is responsible for leading the Company as it builds a creator-first future where independent creators become the most valuable and important part of digital media. In his role, he is focused on supporting an extraordinary 300-person team while growing the companys capabilities that empower the worlds best creators to build their businesses and compete at the highest levels on their own terms.

    A serial entrepreneur, Michael co-founded and served as President of Do Something, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping millions of young people each year take action to improve their communities. He also co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of the profitable 94 Cup Daily, the nations only daily newspaper dedicated to the 1994 World Cup soccer tournament held in the United States.

    Michael is an avid soccer player who played at the nations top-ranked University of Virginia team in college before playing professionally in Zimbabwe while teaching high school math. He currently enjoys playing in an overly competitive mens soccer league and working to avoid injury. As a child, Michael traveled around the world as a top-ranked junior chess player. He received extensive media coverage as a chess prodigy, conducting dozens of chess exhibitions and earning a draw with the #3 ranked player in the world.

    He graduated from Columbia Law School with honors and has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.

    Andrew, along with CEO Michael Sanchez, is a co-founder of Raptive (formerly CafeMedia and AdThrive.)

    In addition to his career in digital media, Andrew has worked as an actor, movie producer, professional soccer player, and community activist.

    He played a leading role in the hit TV show Melrose Place, produced the feature film Gracie, played pro soccer for the LA Galaxy for two seasons, and co-founded two national organizations, Do Something (launched in 1994 with Michael) and The People (started in 2018). Both groups seek to catalyze social change and reform through service, community building, and activism.

    Paul Bannister is the Chief Strategy Officer at Raptive. In his role, he leads the company’s advertising teams to drive the best performance for creators and advertisers.     He joined the company in 2006 and held a series of senior strategy and development roles before being appointed Chief Strategy Officer. During his tenure, he has been a key architect in developing the companys industry-leading programmatic approach and shaping its cutting-edge products and programs.

    Before joining Raptive, he founded Online Gaming Review, one of the first websites dedicated to computer games, authored two books on computer games, and held roles at USWeb/CKS, Ameritrade, and CMP Media.

    As AI reshapes the industry, Paul is focused on finding solutions that help creators thrive. He does this through his leadership on the IAB Tech Lab board, his work on the RSL publisher steering committee, and his work with Prebid.

    Prior to joining the company, Emily spent 17 years in various roles at Google, including leading YouTube’s Creator and Artist Development team for the Americas region. Before joining Google, she was a professional soccer player, playing in the first U.S. women’s professional soccer league and in Russia’s professional league.

    With more than 20 years of experience in media and advertising product leadership, Will leads Raptives product and UX teams and drives the companys overall product vision, serving the creators and enterprise publishers running 6,500+ websites in the network.

    Prior to joining the company, Will led product teams responsible for TripAdvisors flagship hotels marketplace, WordStreams online advertising platform, and Acquias Drupal enterprise digital experience platform.

    Will graduated from Columbia University and happily carries on a family tradition in advertising following his great-uncle, who wrote a well-known ad jingle for Muriel Cigars in the 1950s.

    Marc is also a leading advocate for the future of the open internet in the evolving digital landscape, championing responsible AI policies that protect and empower creators. His work ensures Raptive remains at the forefront of innovation in digital advertising, creator support, and industry leadership.

    Prior to joining Raptive, Marc was the President of Media and Commerce at Red Ventures, a premier data-driven media and marketing services company (#13 on Comscore at the time). At Red Ventures, Marc drove the acquisition of CNET Media Group and led a team to deliver the growth objectives of nine premium digital brands, including CNET, ZDNet, Metacritic, GameSpot and TVGuide. He also led RVs strategic content partnership with TIME Magazine, grew Bankrates Deposits and Wealth Management platform and launched a digital R&D incubator, starting over 20 digital businesses.

    Marc spent the first 20 years of his career at Accenture, where he was a partner advising clients and leading engagements focused on content, marketing, adtech and customer acquisition. His time at Accenture included 3 years in Indonesia, where, among other initiatives, he launched an Innovation Center to reduce poverty and improve financial inclusion through technology innovation.

    Marc lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and three children.

    As Chief Business Officer, Tina leads Raptives media companies unit, overseeing best-in-class customer service and the technology, brand safety, and yield-optimization capabilities that help media companies and publishers streamline modern programmatic monetization. She is also responsible for operations for the companys marketing and new business functions.

    Tina leads a team that creates meaningful revenue opportunities by expanding capabilities beyond core advertising, helping enterprise publishers win more premium demand (PMP/programmatic direct + direct sales), diversifying traffic beyond search volatility, and strengthening identity-driven monetization for long-term resilience in a squeezed media economy.

    Before joining Raptive, Tina led ConvertroVerizon Medias marketing attribution, analytics, and activation platformand previously oversaw client services and operations for Ad.com Dynamic Retargeter (ADR), having been a key participant in the sale of Buysight to AOL. She began her career in finance, working in asset management and real estate investment before joining Buysight as its seventh employee.

    Tina graduated from the University of Southern California (Fight On!) and currently resides in Naples, FL, with her horse and mini labradoodle. When shes not at work or the barn, you can find her on a yoga mat or chasing powder in Big Sky, MT.

    John Roa is Chief AI Officer and GM, Raptive Intelligence, where he leads the companys AI strategy and the development of new intelligence products for creators, publishers, consumers, and enterprise partners.

    Over the last 25 years, he has built technology companies across AI, product, design, commerce, and consumer behavior. His work is rooted in a technical background in computer science and a long-running focus on how intelligent systems can shape better products, markets, and customer experiences. He has founded and served as CEO of seven companies, including KTA, a design consultancy that became one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S. before being acquired by Salesforce. At Salesforce, he led a global consulting team focused on helping enterprise customers build better digital products and customer experiences.

    He also founded AlchemyAI, an agentic food-intelligence platform built to understand recipes, substitutions, grocery intent, household preferences, retail commerce and consumer decision-making, which Raptive acquired in 2026. That work reflects his broader focus on moving AI beyond simple answers toward trusted, useful systems that understand behavior, context, intent, and action.

    Outside of work, he is a proud husband and father who finds balance in the analog world through tennis, martial arts, gardening, cooking, collecting classic cars, and building furniture in the woodshop. He has also led global philanthropic efforts across early education, conservation, and wildlife protection.

    Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Colorado State University and possesses a diverse technical background, including expertise in wireless location systems, multimedia platforms, and operating SaaS products. His teams have successfully built, deployed, and maintained numerous high-performance client/server applications capable of managing tens of billions of transactions daily.

    Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family exploring the beautiful outdoors of Colorado. He is committed to giving back through volunteering at local non-profits or traveling the world to leave a positive impact on those he meets.

    Before joining Raptive, Brynne established and ran her own ad-monetized website and business, gaining hands-on experience and insight in everything from WordPress development and email marketing to SEO and photography. She came on board in 2017 to lead Raptives customer communications efforts, and over the years, has been instrumental in developing numerous processes, communication channels, and educational resources and opportunities for creators.

    A lifetime lover of literature, Brynne splits her free time between reading and writing. She enjoys 300 days of sunshine in the Colorado mountains where she lives with her husband and two cats.

    Beginning her stint at Raptive within sales development, Shobha took on a new role in Revenue Operations before becoming the leading force and an integral member of the team responsible for architecting and building the company’s programmatic strategy and team. This new programmatic strategy unlocked a significant expansion opportunity, enabling Raptive to grow its capabilities and help thousands of creators tap into the companys leading advertising technology. Before joining Raptive, Shobha held digital media sales positions at Novartis Pharmaceuticals and The New York Times. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University and received an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

    Prior to joining Raptive, Walt led supply-side partnership development for companies such as Revcontent, MGID, and Decide Technologies, delivering measurable impact and helping shape cutting-edge approaches to digital advertising and audience engagement.

    Walt is a proud alumnus of The Ohio State University, where he was a member of the Buckeyes’ 2006 and 2007 Big Ten Championship football teams. He now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his three children, where he enjoys balancing his professional endeavors with quality family time.

He has previously held senior commercial, editorial, operations and general management positions at companies including The Telegraph, Travelzoo and Momondo (now part of Kayak). Hes also a former CEO/founder, journalist, and travel blogger, and has studied at The University of Sheffield, INSEAD and MIT Sloan.

Jon lives in New Jersey with his wife, two daughters, and family dog.

Before joining Raptive, she worked at Comscore and a GroupM media agency, where she developed her analytical and client relations expertise. Her broad experience gives her a deep understanding of what publishers need to succeed.

    Mikaela lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband, two daughters, and two cats.

    Max’s passion for building technology products emerged earlyfrom creating an award-winning website while in middle school to his current work mentoring the next generation of product managers. Originally from Russia, Max came to the United States as an exchange student and began his college journey at 16. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and lives in New York City with his wife.

Prior to SoundCloud, Erika held brand marketing, strategy and creative roles at Under Armour, DDB New York, and MKTG, working consistently throughout her career to elevate and celebrate the incredible stories of artists, athletes, and creators worldwide.

McCann can offer innovative solutions that adapt to the evolving needs of digital publishers and creators.

    His leadership role at Prebid.org, where he serves on the board and chairs the committee responsible for publishing Prebid.js, gives him insights into the latest developments in ad tech that he can leverage to inform Raptive’s strategies. This dual role enhances his ability to drive forward-thinking initiatives at Raptive and within the broader ad tech community.

    Previously, Patrick was Raptives Vice President of Data Science. Before joining the team in 2013, Patrick was Lead Data Scientist at eXelate and a statistician at comScore.

As one of the earliest employees at AdThrive (now Raptive), he has been with the company since 2013.

    Jordan graduated from Oklahoma State and started his career working for the non-profit, Compassion International. After 11 years in Colorado, Jordan now lives in Oklahoma City with his wife and 3 daughters (#girldad). He enjoys mountain biking, driving his Jeep, and everything Star Wars.

    Marla Newman is EVP, Sales at Raptive. In her role, shes responsible for leading the company’s best-in-class sales organization and driving the strategy that connects advertisers to its creators’ 224M monthly visitors. Marla, a 20-year digital media veteran, joined Raptive from DotDash Meredith (now People Inc.), where she was President of Digital SalesLifestyle Group.

    Joining Meredith Corporation in 2016, she led all aspects of the digital team’s go-to-market strategy and execution for brand, agency, and holding company partners, doubling Meredith Corporation’s digital media business growth while creating a best-in-class sales organization of nearly 200 team members. She was also responsible for spearheading the largest strategic brand partnerships in the company’s history and was an integral part of post-acquisition integrations during Meredith’s acquisition of Time Inc., and again during the company’s merger with DotDash.

    Prior to joining DotDash Meredith, Newman served as Global Head of Agency Development at AOL and Microsoft and held senior leadership roles at FOX Sports Digital, MTV Networks, and MSN.

    Marla is a graduate of the University of Oregon and a member of The Advertising Group of New York’s Board of Directors.

    Ami brings over 20 years of research and digital media experience to the role. Before joining Raptive, Ami was the analytics owner for various products at Comscore, a global media measurement and analytics company. Prior to her time at Comscore, Ami contracted as a Software Engineer at the U.S. Department of Education.

    Ami was born and raised in India and moved to the U.S. for higher education in the 90s. She currently lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and daughter.

Hal brings over 20 years of web monetization experience, having previously worked at Dotdash Meredith overseeing Revenue Products, Mobile Web, Affiliate, SEO and Emerging Platforms. With a background in web engineering, Hal began his career in online technology creating a gaming social network startup during the birth of the social network era.

    Prior to joining Raptive, Matthew was Chief Marketing Officer at Tumblr, where he led the platform’s strategic transformation from an ad-dependent model to a creator-centric marketplace. Under his leadership, Tumblr launched a comprehensive monetization suite, including subscriptions, digital goods, and tipping features, which drove a 25% increase in daily active users.

    Matthew’s track record in the creator economy extends across multiple platforms. At OnlineMedEd, he transformed a medical education startup into a market leader, achieving 200% user growth and driving a 12x increase in company valuation. He also held brand strategy roles at Twitter and led marketing for CogX, Europe’s premier AI conference.

    Matthew graduated from Lancaster University in the UK with a BSc in Marketing. Originally from England, he now lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife and three sons. In his free time, Matthew writes and illustrates children’s books.

He lives in New Jersey with his wife and two daughters.
