Sexual stamina

I dumped my ex-boyfriend because my mates said he was too unattractive to come out with us. They didn't like him coming to pubs and clubs because he 'let the side down' with his ugly mush and unfashionable clothes.

I admit that he was no looker - and didn't dress very well - but he was a brilliant lover, and Ive not met anyone who matches his sexual stamina since we broke up in March.

The last guy I dated was good looking but didnt make me climax once during the few weeks we were together.

In contrast my ugly ex-boyfriend had me cracking my head on the ceiling every night.

I hear that he is lonely without me. But how can I make contact again when I treated him so badly?

JANE SAYS: Maybe your ex-boyfriend didnt tick certain boxes in the looks department, but he certainly sounds sexy and fun to be with.

If you really do want to get back with the man, then the hard work starts here. Youve got to arrange to meet him face-to-face and apologise for being such an insensitive idiot. Ask for a second chance.

If he agrees to have you back, then youve got to respect and appreciate him.

As for your revolting mates, they need to be shown the door before they ruin your life and steal any chance you may have of happiness. They sound jealous to me.

Damp squib

I was ecstatic when my guy proposed to me.

He promised me a massive diamond ring and a big wedding but Ive hardly seen or heard from him since. He keeps telling me hes busy.

The other night I turned up on his doorstep.

He was furious and he turned everything on me.

He called me selfish and immature for hassling him.

I understand that hes working hard for us but Ive got a horrible feeling that hes having second thoughts about me. What do you think?

JANE SAYS: Youve got to trust your instincts. Clearly a little voice in your head is telling you that your guy has had a massive change of heart. Hes gone from promising you the world to backtracking like crazy.

Youre supposed to be engaged, but youve got no ring; no wedding date and no fianc by your side what kind of engagement is that?

Of course, its admirable that hes working hard, but what about the all important work/ balance?

If this is what hes like, now, during your loved-up days, then what would married life be like?

I suggest you step back and wait for him to come to you. Sadly, I get the distinct impression that hes changed his mind and is now regretting the proposal.

In which case you must start looking after yourself by emotionally letting go.
