Major UK discount retailer launches huge clearance sale online here's what we found for 10p

One of Britain's biggest discount retailers has launched a huge online clearance sale and the Daily Star has discovered some serious bargains. Poundland, which was recently sold for literally 1 (plus debt), has been undergoing a myriad of changes in recent months.

And having admitted that trading has been challenging, new CEO Barry Williams had claimed that they now want to deliver the amazing value our customers expect. The best way to do that, it seems, is with a rather big clearance sale . . . which includes some rather unexpected items.

The Daily Star has taken a deep dive to see just what you can get at the lower end of the Poundland sale scale, with several items up for clearance below 10, with many as low as just 10p (although there is the delivery cost, obviously).

To start, for a whopping 10p, you can buy several items, including a metallic banner with the words hooray daubed across its three metre span, or you can invest in a slightly different version that adds a whole two extra words to exclaim hip, hip, hooray.

But if you're not into such wild celebratory messages, why not buy a pack of 16 Jess Wright Milestone Cards . . . for your dog.

The description is something to behold, and says: Capture those special moments with your furry friend. These cute dog milestone cards will help you document and cherish memories with your pet.

If you fancy splashing out, for just 20p you can get in the Christmas spirit with a Christmas gel pen that has a polar bear topper on it, or there's one with a raccoon on it as well.

However, if you hate animals like the heartless person we assume you are, then you can buy one that simply has a Christmas tree on the top of it.

Don't fancy any of those? Well, if you recently won the lottery and want to splash out with an extra 5p taking your new total to 25p then here's the romantic gesture you've always wanted.

You can buy a special Valentines's Day Engagement Ring (16.71mm) for jut 25p. It comes in a fancy heart-shaped red box, too.

The description does not say what exactly it's made of . . . but it'll definitely set your pulse racing: Hearts will be racing this Valentine's with our stand-by engagement ring. Because we promise they'll want to choose their own.
