Disney+ kicked off the year by slashing its subscription fees, but the surprise offer is nearly over. Those who move quickly can still snag a 3.99 Disney+ subscription for new and returning customers.
But there's a catch - they've got until 11.59pm on Wednesday (January 28) to snap up the bargain. Securing this deal locks in the reduced rate for three months and provides complete access to Disney's enormous catalogue spanning Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and more.
This promotion makes Disney+ the cheapest streaming option compared to Netflix's basic tier (5.99), Prime Video (5.99) and Apple TV (9.99), reports Belfast Live. The offer covers the Standard with Ads package, though reductions are also on tap for the ad-free Disney+ Standard at 6.99 (down from 9.99) and Disney+ Premium at 9.99 (reduced from 14.99).

Customers can save up to 15 depending on their chosen package versus regular monthly charges. To grab the deal, punters can register here ahead of the January 28 deadline.
Standard package users can watch in 1080p Full HD across two devices simultaneously, while Premium tier subscribers get 4K UHD and HDR across four devices plus Dolby Atmos sound support.
Disney+ has slashed its subscription price to 3.99 per month for three months on the Standard with Ads plan. It's also offering the Standard plan for 6.99 and Premium plan for 9.99, but the deals expire on January 28.
Both Standard and Premium members can also download shows for offline viewing without eating into their mobile data, reports the Liverpool Echo. Disney+ has unveiled a packed slate of fresh and returning programmes this year, with Ryan Murphy's body horror series, The Beauty, swiftly claiming the top spot on the streaming service after debuting last week.
It's accompanied by new arrivals, including Tell Me Lies season three, Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, and TRON: Ares. Set to arrive in the forthcoming weeks and months are the comeback of Paradise (February 23), Daredevil: Born Again (March), Rivals (TBC) and The Bear (TBC).
Additionally scheduled for launch are Marvel's Wonder Man (January 28), The Handmaid's Tale spin-off, The Testaments (April 8), and Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair (April 10).
Following the introductory three-month promotional window, the Disney+ membership will automatically continue at the standard monthly rate unless terminated. This enables subscribers to benefit from the reduced price without needing to make a long-term commitment.
Separately, Sky's January sale is also drawing to a close, with reduced-price television bundles such as the 35 Essential TV, Netflix and 300Mbps Full Fibre Broadband package due to finish on February 3. This is followed by the end of the 4.25 Sky Glass Air promotion on February 11.
