Everyone perceives the world in a slightly different way - and some people believe that what grabs your attention first can unveil astonishing things about your character. While optical illusions are crafted to confuse your mind, many also claim to expose hidden characteristics based on what you see first in a picture.

This illusion, posted by TikTok creator Mia Yilin, is said to disclose whether you're more withdrawn or naturally sociable - all from one quick look. Have a peek at the image before continuing and see what's hiding there. Did you catch sight of the snow-laden tree first or the lion's face? Whether you clocked the snow-laden tree first or the lion's face, each could signify something completely different.

According to Mia, if you spotted the tree first this indicates you can be rather defensive when encountering new people, but swiftly become warm, entertaining and approachable once you feel at ease.

She also maintains you're unlikely to make the opening move regarding romance, preferring someone else to demonstrate interest first.

But when you genuinely care about someone, you're exceptionally devoted and prepared to stick by them whatever happens.

Mia said: "When you really like someone, you'll give them your all and fight for them regardless of what people might think.

"Because you're a very private person, people are constantly curious about your life, which makes you all the more attractive and interesting."

Lion's face

However, if you spotted the creature's face initially, this suggests something entirely different. Mia reckons it indicates someone with an inherently sociable nature who effortlessly builds friendships.

She maintains you're the sort of person who steers clear of pointless drama, can be relied upon and treasures the bonds you've formed with others.

Mia added: "Tons of people want to be your friend and you're also very resilient - never letting anything tear you down.

"You have a lot of goals for the future and like to spend your free time thinking about your ideal life.

"Because of how intelligent and hard-working you are, you know that your dreams will definitely come true. All in all, you're a very powerful person."

Naturally, there's no scientific backing that optical illusions can genuinely unveil personality characteristics, but loads of people love contrasting their findings to see how well they align. So what did you see in the picture first?
