'I'm worried boyfriend is cheating I found him taking Viagra and hiding my stuff'

A woman was left feeling concerned after finding Viagra in her boyfriend's suitcase after his trip away, and then noticed he'd hidden all her stuff in the spare room of his house

A 37-year-old woman has asked for opinions on her 50-year old boyfriend after clocking his recent odd behaviour and finding Viagra in his suitcase.

She took to Mumsnet's Relationships forum to also reveal how she discovered her belongings stashed in the spare room of his pad - seemingly away from the prying eyes of others. She explained: "He goes between being lovely to acting like he doesn't want me around and snapping with me."

The woman didn't stop there, adding more fuel to the fire. She added: "A couple of weeks ago I found Viagra in a suitcase he uses when we travel or he goes away for work trips. There was only 1 left in the pack of 8. I questioned him on this and he blew up claiming he uses them for me when he has had a few drinks and can't perform."

But the plot thickened when, after brushing off her doubts, she faced another sketchy incident. She dished out more details: "He told me Thursday night he was having an early night and said he would speak to me the next day," she continued. "But when I woke to message him in the morning he had been online at 3.13am although he had told me he was sleeping by 10pm."

After subtly probing her fella about whether he'd had a decent night's sleep, he said he had - which only made her more wary. And the next day, she was presented with an even bigger shocker.

"I went to his house and all of my possessions were 'hidden' in the spare room with the door closed," she said. "Shoes, clothes everything. He said he was tidying my mess and not to over think. I then seen 2 bottles of wine, a bottle of Prosecco (which he doesn't drink) and several beers in his bin."

Baffled, she turned to the internet for advice, asking: "Is he cheating? Has he been taking the Viagra for someone else? Hiding my belongings when someone else is coming over to stay up drinking with him all night? I'm so confused."

One woman didn't mince their words, blasting: "Of course he's cheating on you. You know he is. Even if he weren't, (he is), you should dump him immediately for the horrible way he's been treating you."

Another chimed in with certainty: "I don't know why you're confused, he is stone cold 100% cheating on you. I'm really sorry but he doesn't even really care to hide it." And a third added: "He's a lying cheating piece of s*** who will continue living this way because that's who he is. You don't have children or live together so get out ASAP and don't look back. He's a sad old man thinking he's all that."

The woman later returned to her post after reading the responses, expressing her feelings of embarrassment. She declared: "Right now I feel stupid. I think I've been conditioned to accept his excuses and it's made me doubt my own reality. We have been together for almost a decade. I briefly split with him in 2020 as he wasn't treating me correctly. But we got back together."
