Neighbour speaks out on harrowing 'collapse' at scene of Hayden Panettiere's death

Harrowing new details have emerged about the scene of Hayden Panettiere's death. Her neighbour has revealed what he witnessed at the scene of her death, after the Heroes and Nashville actress passed away at the age of 36 on Sunday (August 16).

Hayden's death was announced on Monday (August 17), causing an outpouring of shock and grief. Narcan a nasal spray used to counteract the effects of opioid overdoses was allegedly discovered in the flat, but it remains uncertain whether it was administered.

But as the acting world is left stunned at the news of Hayden's tragic death, her neighbour has spoken out about what he saw at the scene of her death. He revealed there was a lot of commotion as the horrific event took place, but admitted he did not hear too much.

According to the Express, neighbour Micah Lee gave his view about what unfolded at the Judson Mill Lofts apartment complex. He told WYFF: "The halls are pretty hollow, so noise echoes throughout.

"And I had just heard about someone collapsing. And then afterwards there was talk about cardiac arrest."

He finished: "I can't confirm any of that. That's just what I've heard."

On top of this, he mentioned there was "a bunch of commotion in the hallway". He added that sounds could be heard through the walls as the tragic incident unfolded.

Audio from an emergency 911 call made at 1:51pm on Sunday captured a dispatcher describing an incident of "cardiac arrest". Later, a male dispatcher referenced a suspected overdose, but this has not been fully confirmed.

Initial results from the post-mortem from the Greenville County Coroner's Office have now been made public, which revealed no evidence of trauma that led to the star's death. It stated: "First responders and Emergency Medical Services arrived on scene and located a female in cardiac arrest.

"EMS personnel initiated advanced cardiac life support measures. However, resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful, and the individual was pronounced deceased at 2:32PM."

The cause of death "remains pending further investigation". Hayden's father revealed the heartbreaking news of her passing with a statement that read: "It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden.

"She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her and to the millions who watched her on screen."
