Hampshire Police said: Just before 9am on Thursday, we received reports that a Lamborghini was in collision with barriers on the M3 southbound, close to the Minley Interchange.

No other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported.

The driver, a 31-year-old man, from Berkshire, has been arrested on suspicion of driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drugs, driving dangerously, possession of a Class C drug and failing to provide a specimen. He has been bailed while our enquiries continue.

Sterling joined Liverpool at the age of 15 from QPRs academy and became a fan favourite at Anfield before signing for Manchester City in 2015.

He enjoyed a trophy-laden seven years at the Etihad before he joined Chelsea in 2022 in a 47.5million deal. However, he failed to live up to his reputation at Stamford Bridge and moved on loan to Arsenal in the 2024/25 season.

Sterling continued to struggle and scored just once for the Gunners in 28 games. His contract at Chelsea was terminated by mutual consent and he joined Feyenoord in February, playing eight times for the Rotterdam club.

The once golden winger has been capped 82 times by England, scoring 20 goals, but his last cap came in 2022.
