Erling Haaland makes hilarious Sydney Sweeney admission 'I was thinking of her'

Erling Haaland has made a cheeky admission about Sydney Sweeney when chatting to KSI.

The Norwegian striker got his World Cup off to a flyer last week - netting a brace in his first ever match in the festival of football. And as Haaland prepares for his next match, KSI shared a video on YouTube where the pair rated celebrity lookalikes.

The pair had to rate the celebrity dopplegangers likeness on a scale out of 10 - as lookalikes to the likes off Harry Kane, Pep Guardiola and Kim Kardashian all paraded around on the stage. However, it was one that took centre stage.

A Marilyn Monroe entered to be judges by the pair - but Haaland was left confused by who she was supposed to be. KSI was quick to clock it was Monroe, but Haaland thought otherwise.

"I thought it was Sweeney at first," he said. "I was thinking of her." And the short clip from the video quickly went viral on social media.

"I genuinely cannot find any resemblance between them, except for the fact that they are both blonds," one fan joked. While a second said: "Sydney Sweeney somehow upstaged Marilyn Monroe!"

"Haaland just created one of the funniest celebrity mix-ups of the year," a third replied. As a fourth posted: "KSI was losing it while Haaland confidently got the wrong celebrity!"

And another added: "Sydney Sweeney got Haaland acting like hes never seen a classic in his life...The disrespect to Marilyn is crazy!"

Haaland is back in action during the early hours of Tuesday morning as Norway look to build on their victory over Iraq as they face Senegal.

Senegal, meanwhile, need to get some points on the board after they battled bravely against France, but were eventually outclassed by Kylian Mbappe and co.
