Premier League boss Russell Martin is reportedly 'besotted' with ex-glamour model Lucy Pinder.

Lucy, 40, is a die-hard Saints fan - and was over the moon when Martin, 38, guided them back into the Prem after beating Leeds in the play-off final. The pair have grown close in recent months - and they were spotted out together this week.

Martin had been awarded an honorary degree by Brighton University, according to The Sun, when they were seen. The pair also got tongues wagging at a Sky Sports function - where onlookers described them as "smitten".

A source, close to the pair, told The Sun: Theyre a match made in heaven or at least in Southampton. Theyre mad for each other.

Lucy, who is now a TV personality, shot to fame as a glamour model in the early 2000s after she was spotted on Bournemouth beach by a photographer.

The brunette was snapped on the pages of now-defunct lads magazines Nuts, FHM and Loaded. She's also been on the big screen, starring in 2012's Strippers vs Werewolves and appearing in a small role in Sharknado 5: Global Swarming in 2017.

However, Lucy achieved wider fame when he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2009 with Ulrika Jonsson and Latoya Jackson, where she was the first housemate evicted.

Lucy is also a massive Southampton fan - and she has previously revealed that her first game was a clash against Wimbledon at the Dell as part of a primary school trip.

The stunner went on to credit her mother for bringing her to games throughout her childhood, which gave her a love for the club.

The Saints are back in the big time this season, after one campaign away, with Martin guiding them back into the Premier League. Martin's side start their season away at Newcastle before welcoming Nottingham Forest for their first home game.
