Logan Paul confirms Donald Trump talks over appearance at John Cena's WWE farewell

With John Cena closing his WWE career in Washington this month, there has been speculation the US President and Hall of Famer Donald Trump could be part of the celebrations

Talks have taken place over Donald Trump making an appearance at WWE Superstar John Cena's 'Last Dance', according to Logan Paul. Cena will bring the curtain down this month on a stellar wrestling career in which he won an unprecedented 17 world championships.

Cena will headline Saturday Nights Main Event at the Capital One Arena in Washington DC on Saturday, December 13 - the finale to a title-laden 26-year career in the squared circle. With the event taking place just a few blocks from the White House, there is speculation that WWE Hall of Famer Trump could be there.

Trump was inaugurated into the Hall of Fame in 2013 because of his long-standing connection with WWE - which included shaving Vince McMahon's head in the 'Battle of the Billionnaires' at WrestleMania 23, where he was also decked after receiving a "Stone Cold Stunner" from Steve Austin. Trump also hosted WrestleMania IV and V.

Paul, who was beaten by Cena at Clash in Paris in August, said talks had taken place about bringing the US President to Cena's swansong.

"We have talked about it," He told Fox News Digital. "I have no idea. It seems like something that could happen. I think it'd be awesome. But I don't know how political the WWE wants to get, so I'm not sure."

Paul was at Trump's inauguration and interviewed the President on his own podcast last year. Thew YouTuber-turned-boxer-turned-wrestler didn't rule out trying to gatecrash Cena's final appearance himself, saying: "I'm not above that."

Of his bout with Cena in August, Paul said: "I am disappointed that I did not come out victorious. He's really good. I don't know what to say.

"Like, halfway through the match, I was like, Oh, this is like a different level of wrestler. But yeah, I mean, it's John Cena, so I got my match. I'll see if I can try to convince him to come back for one more so I can beat him next time. But he told me that he's not going to do that."

When Cena finally hangs up his boots it promises to be an emotional, action-packed night fans will never forget.

Insiders are now hinting at a monumental send-off being planned behind the scenes for what Cena, 48, has called his One Last Dance.

The event, which will be streamed exclusively on Peacock, will close out Cenas 2025 Farewell Tour, which has already seen appearances at WrestleMania 41, Elimination Chamber and surprise returns on Raw and SmackDown.
