If Tiger Woods didn't appreciate the size of his 41 million home in Florida before his horrific car crash this February - he certainly does now.
Woods underwent emergency surgery to repair compound fractures in each leg after his single-vehicle accident, where he careered off road whilst travelling at double the legal speed limit.
He duly spent 12 weeks confined to a hospital bed before progressing to a wheelchair and then crutches, and despite his continuing rehabilitation, has admitted he is unlikely to ever return to the PGA circuit full-time.
The 45-year-old has remained active in the sport though, and was in regular contact with American teammates during their emphatic Ryder Cup win over Team Europe in September.
He has also been spotted overseeing his son, Charlie, hitting balls at the driving range.
The 15-time major winner is now continuing his physical recovery in his luxury mansion on Jupiter Island, where he lives with girlfriend Erica Herman, and can enjoy use of a gym, swimming pool and oxygen therapy room.
Other facilities include a games room and a private cinema theatre.
The incredible property was built in 2010, shortly after Woods and ex-wife Elin Nordegren began divorce proceedings.
On Tuesday, he held his first press conference since the incident, and joked that current circumstances meant the house wasn't quite so easy to get around.
I built a really nice house but I didnt realise how big it was until you start putting crutches on. I am on the better side of it but still have a long way to go," he told reporters.
He also outlined the struggles he's endured with his restricted mobility.
Its been a lot of hard work, he admitted.
There were some really tough times, just laying there. I was in a hospital bed for three months.
Its hard to explain how difficult its been, to be immobile for three months. I was just looking forward to getting outside, that was a goal of mine.
I was just looking forward to getting outside. Eventually I got to a point where they could wheelchair me out and I could feel the sun, that was like a milestone."
Despite his concession over his future, Woods did state an intention to continue to compete in one-off events.
In 2019, he famously captured the US Masters at Augusta, ending an 11-year wait for a Major championship.
