BRIT Awards viewers said they were 'crying' as they watched the voices behind the hit film, KPop Demon Hunters, perform during the star-studded ceremony.
On Saturday night (February 28), the massive music extravaganza took place at Co-Op Live, marking the first occasion the ceremony has been staged in Manchester throughout its nearly 50-year existence.
Harry Styles was spotted launching the show, presented by comedian and host Jack Whitehall, with a rendition of his newest single Aperture.
The former One Direction member was observed shedding his Chanel suit jacket for the performance, taking the stage in his formal trousers and tie. A gospel choir accompanied him for the number, which began with coordinated handshaking and head gestures and finished identically, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Following the presentation of several awards, KPop Demon Hunters film stars - girl group HUNTR/X made up of EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI - were witnessed uniting on stage for an extraordinary performance that was recorded prior to the event.
Netflix's worldwide sensation shattered records upon its debut on the streaming service last summer - claiming the crown as their most-viewed original production ever with over 500 million watchers. The animated blockbuster has additionally generated two Oscar nominations.
The performance coincided with their nomination for two BRIT Awards this year, in the categories of International Group and International Song for Golden.
However, many viewers noticed a touching detail in their performance. One viewer commented: "How lovely to put the K Pop Demon Hunters performance on outside the arena so kids could attend #Brits2026."
Another penned: "Think that's actually adorable performing outside for the kids because this event has age restrictions. bet it was the best thing ever for them kids. Class act co-op. #Brits2026."
A third added: "Love the Kpop Demon Hunters are performing outside so the kids can be there. Manchester does it best #Brits2026."
Others, meanwhile, were thrilled to witness the group's performance, marking the first time K-Pop has been showcased at the esteemed event. One fan posted: "I can't believe they're performing golden at the brits genuinely crying #BRITs."
