The three-time villa star is reportedly joining Love Island All Stars

Love Island's Scott vanderSluis is reportedly gearing up for a comeback on the All Stars series launching this January. The 24-year-old footballer is well-versed in villa life - having initially burst onto the scene as a bombshell during the 2023 series in season 10.

He secured sixth place alongside Abi Moores before being sent home from the ITV programme just shy of the finale, which ultimately saw Jess Harding and Sammy Root crowned winners.

A month afterwards, it came as quite a shock when he turned up on Love Island USA. However, the Welshman failed to make his mark and found himself booted off the island within just a week.

That very same year, Scott also took part in the Love Island Games - the dating programme's inaugural spin-off series. Yet once more, luck wasn't on his side as he got sent home from the villa after a mere three days.

Despite his previous setbacks, the goalkeeper is allegedly preparing for another Love Island stint when the All Stars series launches in South Africa come the New Year, hoping for another crack at romance, reports the Mirror.

The brand new series is expected to return in January for an extended six weeks instead of the usual five. The third series is promising to be an even bigger watch, with the current cast unconfirmed by ITV - but that's not to stop the rumours from making the rounds.

Scott's name has come up and it's all seemingly thanks to his older brother Jamie Reed. The 38 year old reportedly opened up to strangers at a bar in Leeds that Scott was making a return to the show.

An insider revealed to The Sun: "He was a bit tipsy and, to make small talk with younger people, he started telling them about his younger brother, Scott. He said, 'You must know Scott - he was on Love Island', and they did.

"But I think Scott coming back will make brilliant telly because he's controversial and conventionally attractive."

Scott's television appearances extend beyond Love Island, with fans likely recognising him from Netflix's dating series Perfect Match earlier this year.

Despite failing to find romance on that programme, speculation arose over the summer that he had found a girlfriend after being spotted in playful exchanges with co-star Juliette Porter following the show's conclusion.

However, if reports are accurate, Scott remains single and will be entering this year's Love Island All Stars, having nearly joined the 2025 series before withdrawing at the last minute.

Speaking to followers on his Snapchat at the time, he revealed his original plans to participate in All Stars earlier this year. In a video shared on the platform, he explained: "I was going to do [All Stars]. I pulled out two days before the show started for various reasons. I sat down with my family and there was quite a few reasons why I decided to go against it.

"But I was on FaceTime to [Luca Bish] every day for about two months straight before he went on. He had lost [access to] his phone by the time I'd pulled out so he doesn't actually know that I'm [not] going in there. He is still expecting me to go in!"

ITV has yet to announce the exact premiere date for Love Island: All Stars 2026, but if it follows the pattern of the last two seasons, it's likely to kick off in the second week of January.

Other celebrities rumoured to be joining the All Stars line-up include Millie Court and Liam Reardon, who split earlier this year, as well as Curtis Pritchard, Whitney Adebayo, Remell Mullins, Ronnie Vint, Harrison Solomon, Andrada Pop, Emma Munroe and Lauren Wood.

Love Island All Stars returns to ITV in 2026.
