Love Island star exposes real reason Jasmine's sister pulled Aidan for a chat

EXCLUSIVE: Love Island fans were left baffled when Jasmine's sister Bella pulled Aidan aside during Friends and Family Day but now an ex-Islander has revealed the real reason behind it

Love Island fans were left scratching their heads during the show's emotional Friends and Family Day after Jasmine's sister Bella unexpectedly pulled Aidan in for a private chat.

With Jasmine happily coupled up with Cavan who also happens to be Aidan's brother viewers questioned why Bella wasn't spending all her time catching up with her sister instead.

Now, dumped Islander Tommy Murphy has revealed what he really thinks was going on. Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, Tommy claimed Bella had one simple reason for pulling Aidan aside. "It was for air time," he laughed. "Course it was, get some cheeky air time. I don't blame her."

The moment quickly got fans talking online, with many wondering why Bella had chosen to chat to Aidan when Cavan was the one coupled up with Jasmine.

Although viewers only saw snippets of the conversation, Tommy reckons the answer was much simpler than fans were expecting.

The Islander admitted he couldn't blame Bella for making the most of her few minutes in the famous villa, joking that anyone would be tempted to grab a little extra screen time.

Tommy has been spilling plenty of behind-the-scenes secrets since leaving the ITV dating show.

He recently revealed that fellow Islander Tina Rad cheekily slid into his Instagram DMs before either of them entered the villa.

Despite fans becoming convinced the pair could be more than friends after their flirty exchanges online, Tommy and Tina have insisted there's no romance brewing between them.

Asked about the endless TikTok videos "shipping" them together, Tina laughed: "No, we're just friends. Nothing could ever happen."

The conversation then took a surprising turn when Tommy revealed Tina had jokingly asked him for "nudes" before Love Island.

"You don't want to know what I said, guys," Tina laughed. Without missing a beat, Tommy replied: "She asked me for nudes."

Tina quickly admitted it was true before insisting she hadn't been serious.

"I literally just popped up saying 'nudes'. But guys, I swear I was joking."

Tommy also confirmed he never sent any photos, instead jokingly replying: "You first."
