Wayne Lineker sets sights on I'm A Celeb stint as he shows off wild party trick

Wayne Lineker speaks to The Daily Star about juggling return to Ibiza with his sober lifestyle

Wayne Lineker has set his sights on the ultimate reality TV challenge and reckons he already has the perfect party trick to impress viewers.

The Ibiza nightlife legend admitted he'd love to head into the Australian jungle if I'm A Celeb came knocking, insisting he'd be a natural when it comes to tackling gruesome Bushtucker-style challenges.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star at Bonito Hotel ahead of SHEIN's swimwear showcase in Ibiza, Wayne revealed he's more than prepared for life in camp. Wayne said: "I'm open to TV offers. I'd like to do the jungle. That's one of the big ones."

And Wayne reckons he already has a secret weapon up his sleeve.

"I love spiders," he laughed. "I've got a spider party trick. I get a little handful and put them all in my mouth, then go up to my friends and go 'ahhh!'

"I've done it about six or seven times, but I have to pre-arrange getting the spiders, so I can't really do it off the cuff."

There is one creepy-crawly he draws the line at though.

"I'd be fantastic at the trials apart from cockroaches. I can't deal with them."

If Wayne did make it into camp, there's only one celebrity he'd want by his side former EastEnders star Dean Gaffney.

"Absolutely Dean Gaffney," he said. "If I went in with Dean, he'd be able to tell me all the tricks and secrets."

Away from reality TV ambitions, Wayne says life is looking very different these days as he embraces a healthier lifestyle.

The O Beach Ibiza icon has been focusing on sobriety and spending more time with family after years of being first through the doors and last to leave the island's biggest parties.

"Life is very good at the moment," Wayne explained. "I'm focusing on being sober and fresh, getting into a routine and seeing my family.

"I'm spending less time at O Beach and more time enjoying the rest of this beautiful island."

The 63-year-old is now planning a new travel vlog exploring Ibiza's hidden gems.

"I'm starting to get a vlog together to explore beaches, hotels and restaurants. That'll be my new little hobby."
