Horror as woman gang raped after being promised medical treatment
The purported victim reported the alleged crime at a police station the morning after.

A man and woman have been arrested over the alleged gang rape of a woman. The purported victim was reportedly promised medical treatment at a private clinic in Satkhira Sadar, Bangladesh. A third person is also accused. The alleged incident occurred in a rented house in the Tala Bridge bridge area with the woman having been told that it was too late to find a doctor.
A man is said to have claimed to have worked at a clinic in Satkhira and, with the alleged assistance of a woman at the house, purportedly gave the victim a sedative mixed in her food. The woman was then allegedly raped once she was unconscious. It is reported that she was raped several times in the same night.
The woman reported the alleged rapes at a police station the next morning.
Police officer Md Abu Bakar Siddique said, according to the Business Standard: "Tala Police Station Case No 10 was filed on 14 August 2026 against two men and a woman."
The victim was sent to hospital for treatment.
Police made two arrests during a raid on Sunday.
