Four people were spotted running from the scene of a crash on the A50. Police were called to the scene around Heron Cross where a black Vauxhall Astra and a black Mercedes were involved in a collision.

The collision had occurred at around 7.15pm on June 27. A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "Four people were seen running away from the scene on foot. We believe they were in the Astra at the time.

"No one was reported injured and recovery was arranged for both cars."

The force say the individuals running away from the scene were described as Asian and roughly in their 20s.

Witnesses should call 101 and quote incident 842 of June 27.
